Nigeria offers More Opportunities than The UK, in Real Estate Business…Adeagbo
Nigerian real estate sector remains untapped and offers greater opportunities for entrepreneurs than the sector opportunities, offered by the United Kingdom (UK).
This stand was expressed on Wednesday in Lagos by a real estate ex- pert and author of the book. “A Journey of Change”, Mr Kayode Adeagbo, during the presentation of his book at the Laterna in Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria, maintaining that the world has moved on from working hard to working smart.
He said that the book “Journey of Change’ Inspires the power of resilience, faith, bold decisions, property investment, transformation, growth, new be- ginning and success, which comes after a very long focused toil.
The smart work he said has to do with the internet, the computer age, networking, cooperation, and others that shape team work and networks of contacts that add real value.
“This book, a journey of change, is not just about property, though. It is about transformation. It’s about how change, no matter how difficult, can open doors to growth, to new beginnings and to success that one seems out of reach. My hope today and as we continue on this journey, is that as you read this book, you don’t see my journey, you see reflection of your own journey, that you will find encouragement to take steps towards that journey and to embrace the change that is necessary to build the future that you truly desire.
The UK based entrepreneur, author, pastor and real estate trainer, said that even as there are opportunities in the UK, for many Nigerians to take advantage of in the UK, most don’t realize such, but when he started Hsi training programme on real estate, he was able to now grow participants of his training from two to now over 50, and still counting.
Even as the opportunities abound in the UK, the real estate business in Nigeria, he said, is massive and dwarfs the opportunities in the UK by far.
Speaking in an interview, he said that though there are risks to encounter, just as there are risks in every endeavour, he maintained that what matters most is the focus of the entrepreneur.
“I will not dwell on the risks, rather, I will dwell on what you need to do, or how you need to prepare yourself against risks, because there are going to be a lot. You must once you have settled the issue of your faith in God, the next thing you need to do is know who you are, what you are looking for, where you think you want to be. If you don’t have a picture of where you are going, it will be difficult to get there, Very, very difficult”
