The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 November/December Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
The November/December examinations are for private candidates unlike the May/June examination which is for school-based candidates.
NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, a professor, announced the result at the examination body’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday.
Mr Wushishi said a total of 96,979 candidates — comprising 51,823 males (53.43 per cent), and 45,156 females (46.56 per cent)— registered for the examination.
He explained that the results of the examination, conducted between 26 November and 13 December 2025, were released 52 days after the last paper.
He said 95,160 candidates sat for the examination —50,785 males (53.36 per cent) and 44,375 females (46.63 per cent)
