Heirs insurance group has marked a remarkable five years of impacting Africa, transforming society and rede- fining the Nigerian insurance sector with grassroots’ insurance, sustained profitability, and digitisation driven stakeholders value.

Heirs Insurance, the innovative insurance group that commenced business on June 01, 2021 with 50 staff members, has grown its staff size to about 1000 that are collectively powering the group to become one of the sector’s top profitable companies, top innovative, fastest growing and technology savvy group in Sub-Saharan Africa and wider Africa.

From its first year of operation, the company commenced rewarding commitment to human capital development and changing negative perception about insurance, with Hears insurance annual essay competition for students, which has now been extended to teachers.

Winner students are rewarded with scholarships, and computers. Their schools also rewarded with computers to enhance learning.

Heirs Insurance group which has paid over N4 billion in claim settlement so far this year, is driven by its commitment to a 24-hour speed of claim settlement, democratisation of insurance and 24/7 automated processes, to have successfully sailed through five years of transforming Nigeria insurance sector to emerge as the insurance company of choice in Africa.

These were part of the highlights at the recent media parley with the Heirs Insurance management, where the managing director, Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) Heirs General Insurance, Wole Fayemi expressed confidence that the next growth phase of Heirs Insurance Group will see the it emerging among the top leading insurance companies in key sector performance measuring indices in Africa.

He said Heirs Insurance has since inception remained on the forefront of engendering financial inclusivity, market growth, profitability and addressing trust deficit in the sector.

The company he said, is revolutionising the country’s insurance sector with world class Insurance technology, strong grassroots customer base, contribution to national economic growth, transformation, employment, board commitment and simplified insurance.

Wole Fayemi: MD/CEO, added that over the past years, Heirs Insurance group has been intentional in driving Community growth, human resource development, boost in retail and corporate Insurance customers, robust sector’s corporate culture and sustained ICT clients’ engagement.

According to him, the group’s focus on people, technology processes, digitisation and online insurance have powered a renewed positive perception and heightened confidence in the country’s insurance sector.
