Air Peace has announced the commencement of expanded regional flight operations across West African capitals. The new schedules take effect from April 1, 2026. This expansion forms part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to strengthening connectivity across the sub-region.
The move will facilitate trade and improve travel options for passengers. It also demonstrates Air Peace’s dedication to regional integration. The airline continues to position itself as a leading carrier in West Africa.
Air Peace Expands Connectivity across West African Capitals
The new schedules will enhance seamless travel between Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia, and Freetown. Passengers can expect improved connectivity across the airline’s growing network. Greater flexibility in travel planning is now available.
These West African capitals represent key economic and cultural hubs. The enhanced network supports both business and leisure travellers. Air Peace continues to bridge gaps in regional air trans- port.
Four New Routes Announced for Regional Network
The airline will introduce four new routes with carefully coordinated timings. Each route serves multiple West African capitals efficiently. The schedules maximise connectivity through the Lagos hub.
First Route: Lagos-Abidjan-Dakar-Banjul
This route operates on Mon- days, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights depart Lagos at 07:00 for Abidjan. The service continues through to Dakar and Banjul before returning via the same cities.
Second Route: Lagos-Abidjan-Dakar
This service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It links Lagos, Abidjan, and Dakar directly. Additional travel options are now available on these days.
Meanwhile, passengers heading further along the coast have new choices. Air Peace has carefully timed connections at each stop. This reduces waiting times between flights significantly.
Third Route: Lagos-Accra-Monrovia
For connections to destinations further along the coast, Air Peace will operate a Lagos, Accra, and Monrovia service. This route operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flights depart Lagos at 08:00.
The aircraft arrives in Accra at 08:05. It then continues to Monrovia, departing at 08:45. The return journey follows the same routing.
Fourth Route: Lagos-Accra-Freetown
A Lagos, Accra, and Freetown service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights also depart Lagos at 08:00. This provides consistent options for travellers to Sierra Leone.
The Accra to Freetown sector takes approximately two hours and fifty minutes. Passengers enjoy comfortable travel throughout the journey. Air Peace maintains its high service standards across all routes.
Strategic Importance of West African Capitals Connectivity
These new schedules improve connectivity across key West African capitals. Passengers can now travel more efficiently within the region. The airline’s primary hub in Lagos serves as the central connection point.
Lagos continues to emerge as a major regional aviation hub. The expansion links West and Central Africa effectively. Global destinations become more accessible through this network.
Therefore, Air Peace is playing a crucial role in regional development. The airline facilitates movement of people and goods. This supports economic growth across all served destinations.
Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of these enhanced services. Very competitive fares are available across the network. Additional baggage allowance supports longer trips and business travel.
