Transcorp Hotels Reports 60% Revenue Boost, 71% Profit Growth YoY, H1 2025 Robust Performance

  • Delivers Shareholders N1.024bn Total Interim Dividend Payment.

Transcorp Hotels Plc (“Transcorp Hotels” or the “Company”) (NGX: TRANSCOHOT), the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (“Transcorp Group”), has reported revenue boost by 60 per cent and 71 per cent growth in profit year on year for the First half H1 2025 accounting period ended June 30.

The result recently released by the NGX Exchange to the investing public showed an impressive 60% growth in revenue against the same period in 2024. Gross Profit increased by 71% year on year.

The period saw the launch of the Company’s world-class, 5,000-seat capacity Transcorp Centre, demonstrating Transcorp Hotels positioning as the event and hospitality leader in Nigeria. The Company’s successful launch of Nigeria’s largest corporate venue is further evidence of its ability to unlock new revenue streams and drive sustainable growth.

Key Highlights of the result reflects strong growth in Revenue, as the hotel group recorded an impressive Y-o-Y revenue growth of 60% from N29.72 billion in H1 2024, to N47.57 billion in H1 2025.

TransCorp Hotels sustained its growth in profitability in H1 2025, growing gross profit by 71% to N36.21 billion, from N21.19 billion of the preceding year.

This notable growth translated to an improvement in H1 2025 gross profit margin, increasing to 76%, despite the challenging macroeconomic environment marked by rising inflation and increased operating costs.

In line with its promise to continually deliver value, the Company is rewarding shareholders with an interim dividend of N1,024,252,841 at N0.10 for every 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to appropriate withholding tax.
