CHAMS Notifies Exchange, regulators, on NIMC Court Judgment

Holdings Plc has notified the NGX Exchange and the investing public, on the favourable court judgement in the case the company had with the Nigerian Identity Management, Company (NIMC).”

In a CORPORATE DISCLOSURE: titled, NOTIFICATION OF COURT JUDGMENT” s dated,3 February 2026, signed by Oluwaseun Osuji and Mayowa Olaniyan Company Secretary and Group Managing Director/Ceo respectively, CHAMS re-echoed that the Court recognized and upheld the validity of a Final Arbitral Award issued in favour of Chams Consortium Limited, arising from a dispute under a concession arrangement between the parties.

The statement read “Chams Holding Company Plc (the “Court hereby notifies Nigerian Exchange Limited (“NGX”) and the investing public that the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Abuja Judicial Division, on 11 December 2025, delivered a judgment in respect of an application filed by Chams Consortium Limited, against the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).”

In its judgment, the Honourable Court recognized and up- held the validity of a Final Arbitral Award issued in favour of Chams Consortium Limited, arising from a dispute under a concession arrangement between the parties.

The Court held that the Arbitral Tribunal was properly constituted, had jurisdiction, and that the Final Arbitral Award is valid and enforceable in accordance with applicable law.

The Company assured that it would also make further disclosures as and when there are material developments, in accordance with applicable NGX disclosure requirements.
