AMCON to sell Silverbird Mall, Sumiram Hotel properties in Lagos, Oyo, Abuja

The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has offered several properties for sale to interested members of the public.

The properties are located in the federal capital territory (FCT), Lagos, Plateau, and Oyo, according to an advertorial on ThisDay Newspaper on Monday.

The AMCON said the offerings align with its objectives and its statutory responsibility to efficiently resolve ‘eligible bank assets’ acquired from various financial institutions in Nigeria.

“Assets purchased from various eligible financial institutions hereby offers the following properties for sale to interested members of the public,” the agency said.

‘10 PROPERTIES AVAILABLE FOR SALE’

Assets offered for sale include a warehouse and office block at Km 9, Old Lagos Road, Podo (Plot 1, 2 & 3 Road 1 Zone 2), Mogbonjubola Layout, Opere Industrial Village, Ibadan, Oyo.

“Other structures on site include a security block/gate house, external toilet block, and a generator block all on a site area of approximately 12,802.831sqm,” the agency said.

AMCON also listed an office complex at 3 Sawyer Crescent, near Corona School, Gbagada, Lagos, for sale.

“The property is rectangular in shape, development on site consists of an office complex on two floors with a generator house and gatehouse,” the agency said.

“Though residential, it can still be used as an office space or school provided the proper permit & approval are obtained from the right authorities.

It measures approximately 1,343.10sqm (per valuation report).” Another property, formerly Hotel Sumiram and Green Restaurant, on Secretariat Link Road, Jos, Plateau state, was offered for sale.

“Development on site includes the main block with 6 rooms and 2 servant rooms, kitchen, canteen, and reception,” the corporation said.

“Other developments include a ten (10) room rear block with karaoke bar, poolside, sit-out, garden, powerhouse, and gatehouse. The property sits on a land size of 2567.74sqm.”
